Well here’s some news that is sure to be anything but a surprise. The Irish band many believe to be the quintessential shoegaze band have yet again pushed back the release dates of two of their classic LP’s. My Bloody Valentine first gave word of remastering and reissuing 1988’s Isn’t Anything and the ’91 masterpiece Loveless back in early 2008.

MBV front man Kevin Shields is remastering both albums himself and Loveless is set to include a second disc as well. Both collections were set to be out in January but in true Kevin Shields style the date has been delayed and is now due to hit the stores in March.

Sadly, a lot of the codes for official MBV videos on you tube have been disabled but here’s a pretty good quality clip of MBV live in Japan performing one of my favorites from Loveless. Most probably do not find MBV exactly tranquil but I’ve always found their sea of noise to be quite relaxing. Enjoy!
